In the new year, St Margaret of Cortona will launch a 7-week group study of the nationally sponsored video series, Jesus and the Eucharist. These sessions are part of the National Eucharistic Revival and serve to grow our relationship with the Living God and our faith community here at St Margaret. Alongside our brothers and sisters in Christ, we’ll come to better understand our relationship with God and further authenticate our “Amen” when we receive the Eucharist each week.
Sessions begin on January 7th at 7PM and continue on Sunday evenings thereafter. Sessions will break-out into three groups to encourage the most-relatable discussions: Adult, High School, and Spanish-speaking. Childcare will be offered, and student volunteers from Bishop Ready High School will be on-hand to assist with older children.
Consistent attendance is encouraged but is not required. Come as often as you can and leave when needed. These sessions will prepare us spiritually for ongoing Eucharistic Revival celebrations across the country. On June 23rd, the eastern route of the National Eucharistic Procession will enter Central Ohio with activities slated in the Diocese of Columbus from June 28-30. The procession will conclude with the National Eucharistic Congress at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis from July 17-21.
Join me in being renewed in Jesus Christ!
✞ Peace,
Dcn. Tom Rowlands
